Guwahati: Kokrajhar sadar excise celebration led by SP (Excise) Amarendra Nath on Wednesday carried out a raid at No. 2 Kachukata village beside the Gangia river underneath Gossaigaon police station and destroyed round 10 bighas of poppy cultivation utilizing tractor.
“The cultivation is allegedly carried out by some people from Dhubri district who could not be traced. The value of the destroyed cultivation is over a crore,” Nath mentioned. TNN
