GUWAHATI: After the nationwide capital and Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has set its eyes on Assam forward of the panchayat polls. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and his Punjab counterpart, Bhagwant Mann, are set to arrive in Guwahati on April 2 to address a mega rally.
AAP mentioned the leaders intention to give a serious increase to the celebration organisation earlier than the agricultural polls in the state, slated to be held later this yr, and the 2024 Lok Sabha election. From a feeble drive in the state, AAP now has its committees in all 31 districts. “Kejriwal and Mann ji will be in Guwahati,” Rajesh Sharma, AAP’s NE in-charge mentioned on Sunday.
