Silchar: Director common of Border Security Force (BSF), Sujoy Lal Thaosen, visited the headquarters of Mizoram and Cachar Frontier border guards at Masimpur, close to Silchar, and reviewed their security and operational preparedness.
A spokesman stated Thaosen mentioned operational preparedness with the BSF officers, deployed alongside the Indo-Bangladesh border, in addition to counter insurgency operation function, in Manipur and Nagaland.
Thaosen landed on the frontier headquarter, together with further director common, Eastern Command, Kolkata, Sonali Mishra on Thursday and was obtained by inspector common of the BSF M&C Frontier Umesh Kumar Nayal. tnn
