Guwahati: A 53-year-old momentary worker of the State Bank of India’s Salonibari department in Assam’s Tezpur was arrested on Sunday for looting over Rs 23 lakh from the financial institution’s locker on Saturday night. He was pissed off over non-regularisation of his job, stated police.
Accused Lakkherswar Bora has been working because the canteen workers of the department, situated contained in the Air Force Station campus, for the final a number of years on a contract foundation.
Simanta Pathak, in-charge of the Salonibari police outpost, stated Bora was a canteen workers, however used to reach within the department early within the morning for cleansing functions and used to go away late within the night. “He had a key to the main door of the branch.
