AIZAWL: A final-year MBBS student of Zoram Medical College (ZMC) at Falkawn close to Aizawl died of suspected extreme cardiac arrest on Wednesday night.
The student, Anita Kanwar, hailed from a small village in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur district.
“She would have completed her final exam on Thursday,” Saia Chenkual, a school member of the ZMC, stated.
Anita’s dad and mom have reached Aizawl, he added.
“Unless the autopsy is conducted, we cannot determine the cause of her death. She, however, appears to have suffered a pulmonary embolism/severe heart attack (cardiac arrest),” Chenkual stated, including that it was but to be determined whether or not Anita’s cremation could be performed right here or the physique could be despatched again to her village.
Anita dreamt of turning into the primary girl physician from her village, a classmate stated.
