Silchar: Over one lakh forest resources, including seedlings and saplings planted by the forest department in a nursery in Hailakandi district, have allegedly been set ablaze by a gang of criminals.
An FIR was lodged by the forest department with Katlicherra police station on Tuesday. A hunt is on to track down the accused, police said.
However, no one has been arrested till the time of filing this report. tnn
