SILCHAR: Police seized 1.5 kg of heroin price Rs 12 crore from a spot alongside the Assam-Mizoram border in (*12*) district on Wednesday. Police arrested two individuals on this connection.
According to a senior police official in (*12*), appearing on a tip-off, a police workforce led by superintendent of police ((*12*)) Partha Pratim Das intercepted a automobile, which was coming from Mizoram to Assam within the Veterbond space in Ratabari police station. Upon looking the automobile, police recovered at a complete of 121 soaps containing 1.2 kg of heroin have been recovered. They have recognized the accused as Abdul Kalam and Saju Mohammed, residents of (*12*) district.
