GUWAHATI: Police on Sunday arrested three males and one woman for allegedly bodily assaulting a four-month pregnant woman, her husband and mom in-law in higher Assam’s Jorhat district on the second day of Holi final Wednesday.
The arrested individuals have been recognized as Angshuman Dutta, Babu Phukan, San Phukan and Ananya Bora.
Jorhat SP Mohan Lal Meena mentioned in response to Kirti Kamal Bordoloi, the husband of the pregnant woman, they had been bodily assaulted by the accused, who had been allegedly in an inebriated situation, in entrance of their residence following an argument over honking.
