Guwahati: A matric candidate died by suicide by hanging herself within the rest room of her home in Tinsukia district on Wednesday night time. Her household suspects that psychological torture by her boyfriend compelled her to take such a step.

“As per preliminary investigation, the girl went out of her home on Wednesday evening. After returning home, she hung herself at night and the family members came to know of it in the morning,” a police officer stated.
